Kazakhstan Sends Humanitarian Aid to Kyrgyzstan in Form of Diesel Fuel
Kyrgyzstan has received a shipment of humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan, consisting of 1,000 tons of diesel fuel, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 5.
This delivery marks the second batch of assistance provided by Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. The initial shipment of 1,000 tons was dispatched on February 29. The aid is being extended to the neighboring country under the directive of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and with the support of the Kazakhstan International Development Agency, Kazaid.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the second batch of diesel fuel has been delivered to the Balykchy station in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan.
The decision to offer assistance was made in response to an incident at the Bishkek thermal power plant. In the early hours of February 2, an accident occurred at the plant, resulting in injuries to five individuals.
