South Korean Turkologists Show Interest in Turkic Academy’s Activities
on February 14, 2024, in Astana, Shahin Mustafayev, the President of the Turkic Academy, welcomed Professor Eunkung Oh, the Director of the Institute for Eurasian Turkic States at Dongduk Women University in South Korea.
During their meeting, the President of the Academy commended the recent publication of the 8-volume “Encyclopedia of Turkic Humanities” in Korean, overseen by Professor Eunkung Oh, recognizing it as a significant achievement.
Mr. Mustafayev also provided updates on the ongoing fundamental projects at the Turkic Academy and shared the outcomes of last year’s endeavors.
Expressing gratitude, Professor Eunkung Oh thanked the Turkic Academy for organizing and supporting the presentation ceremony of the aforementioned encyclopedia. Furthermore, she provided additional insights into the Institute for Eurasian Turkic States.
The meeting served as an opportunity for both parties to establish cooperative relations and discuss potential joint projects.
Towards the end of the meeting, Shahin Mustafayev presented Professor Eunkung Oh with several scientific publications released by the Academy.
