Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, announced that the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has surpassed 1 trillion soms, equivalent to over 11 billion 235 million US dollars.
Japarov made this announcement during a ceremony where certificates of honor and gratitude were presented on behalf of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers. He reported that the GDP for the first 11 months of the current year reached 1 trillion 72.6 billion soms, with the republic’s budget exceeding 6 billion 404 million dollars.
Highlighting the government’s achievements in the education sector, Japarov mentioned that hundreds of schools have been constructed and opened over the past 2.5 years. According to the State Construction Committee, an additional 128 schools, including 110 new school buildings, are set to open this year.
Japarov emphasized the positive recognition of Kyrgyzstan’s economy by reputable international financial institutions. He stated, “Our today, tomorrow, and the future of our children depend on the work and contribution of every worker, teacher, doctor, builder, and energy worker. We are on a path of development, we have unity, prosperity, knowledge, and strong political will.” The announcement reflects Kyrgyzstan’s continued commitment to economic growth and development.
