three prominent ski resorts in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia have joined forces to establish the Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts (EAMC). The unveiling of this alliance occurred during the “Tourism on the Silk Road” exhibition, TITF2023, in Tashkent on November 16, TuraNews.kz reports citing Gazeta.uz.
This alliance, formed in June, brings together the renowned resorts of Shymbulak in Kazakhstan, Amirsay in Uzbekistan, and Rosa Khutor in Russia. During the presentation at the exhibition, the alliance showcased a comprehensive calendar of upcoming sports, cultural, and entertainment events across its three resorts for the coming year.
As part of this initiative, tourists visiting these resorts can anticipate specific bonuses for participating in the scheduled activities. These earned bonuses can subsequently be utilized to offset various expenses for services at any of the three resorts within the alliance.
Representatives from the resorts shared insights into the goals and objectives of this newfound union, along with detailing joint events planned for the upcoming winter season. Saidvali Saidkhodjaev, the General Director of the Amirsoy mountain resort, expressed optimism about the alliance’s potential impact on the tourism and hospitality industry.
“Our common goal is to open new directions in the tourism and hospitality industry, improve quality and competitiveness, and bring the culture of tourism to a new level. I am confident that the alliance will become an important and useful platform for creating new ideas and projects related to the development of international tourism, as well as promoting safe, green, and affordable tourism”, Saidvali Saidkhodjaev said .
