First-ever forum of Turkic-speaking nations, ‘Art of Brotherly Nations,’ held in Tashkent

On September 30th, within the framework of the XV Tashkent International Film Festival, the forum ‘Art of Brotherly Nations’ took place at the ‘Uzbekfilm’ film studio with the participation of cinematographers from Turkic-speaking countries (Turksoy), TuraNews.kz reports..

During the event, the best cinematographers from member countries of the International Turkic Culture Organization (Turksoy) were honored, and the Union of Cinematographers of Turkic Peoples was established. Audiences also witnessed performances by renowned artists such as Ayla Chelik, Talib Tele, and Zeynep Hasenli.

The event was attended by Firdavs Abdukhalikov, the director of the Cinema Agency; Sultan Raev, the Secretary-General of the organization ‘Turksoy’; Orkhan Fikretog, Advisor to the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan; Erkin Yılmaz, the General Director of the Department of Cinema at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Turkish Republic; Milyausha Aituganova, the head of the ‘Tatarkino’ studio; and Arslan Eeberdyev, the head of ‘Turkmenfilm.’

During the forum, which took place at the ‘Uzbekfilm’ film studio, the Union of Cinematographers of Turkic Peoples was established, and several memorandums were signed.

To conclude the day, an artistic evening titled ‘Art of Brotherly Nations’ was organized, featuring famous artists from Turkic-speaking nations. Among them were honored artists Hamida Omarova and Aishal Mamedova from Azerbaijan, honored artists Kanat Torbay and Venara Nigmatulina from Kazakhstan, People’s Artist of Kyrgyzstan Artikbay Suyudukov and Kyrgyz director Temir Birnazarov, renowned Turkmen director Khodjakuli Narliev, and well-known Turkish actors Jalal Al, Ali Mete, and others.

Turkish singer Ayla Chelik, People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Bek Borbiev, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Zhenisbek Piyazov, Azerbaijani artists Talib Tele and Zeynep Hasenli performed their popular songs.”
