TURKSOY marks its 30th anniversary in Kyrgyzstan

As part of the first stage of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the organization, the Days of Culture of the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY were celebrated in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported on the official website of TURKSOY.

Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will next take the baton. The second stage of events within the organization’s anniversary celebration will continue in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye and Azerbaijan.

As part of the Days of Culture of TURKSOY, an exhibition of paintings and books was launched at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev in Bishkek. The exhibition featured works by artists from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. A book exhibition of TURKSOY member states was opened at the National Library named after Alikul Osmonov.

Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev stressed that the language, religion, history, and culture of the Turkic peoples are one.

The Days of Culture of TURKSOY in Kyrgyzstan concluded with a solemn concert, “We Are Together,” featuring masters of the arts from the Turkic world. Figures of culture and art from Kyrgyzstan who have made significant contributions to the development of culture and art in the Turkic world were awarded the medal “30th Anniversary of TURKSOY.”
