The son of the late Uzbekistani first president is suing the former first lady over inheritance issues.

The son of the first president of Uzbekistan, Pyotr Karimov, has filed an inheritance claim against his late fathers’s widow Tatyana Karimova, Turanews.kz reports.

Information about the session scheduled for June 26 is posted on the website of the Supreme Court in the section of court session schedules.

The Yakkasaray Interdistrict Court for Civil Cases of Tashkent will consider the claim of Pyotr Islamovich Karimov against the widow of the first President of Uzbekistan Tatyana Akbarovna Karimova.

According to the information in the timetable, the case to be considered concerns “disputes arising from the right of succession.”

Note that Pyotr Karimov is the son of Islam Karimov from his first marriage to Natalia Kuchma. According to media reports, he currently lives in the Moscow region of Russia.
