Kazakh President outlines Astana International Forum’s mission

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered a speech outlining the goals and tasks of the Astana International Forum, Turanews.kz reports.

In his address, the President expressed his sincere gratitude to the distinguished special guests, including the Emir of Qatar, the President of Kyrgyzstan, the Head of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, and others in attendance.

The President emphasized that the Astana International Forum serves as a platform for dialogue. Its primary mission is to engage in discussions on the global situation, identify key challenges and crises facing the world, address these challenges through dialogue based on mutual cooperation, restore and strengthen the common culture of multilateral relations, and amplify voices advocating for peace, progress, and solidarity.

President Tokayev further acknowledged that the forum plays a significant role in promoting more active cooperation amidst unprecedented geopolitical tensions.

Recall that Astana International Forum started today in the Capital city of Kazakhstan. The forum’s main theme is “Overcoming challenges through dialogue: towards cooperation, development, and progress.” Prominent experts from around the world have gathered to seek solutions to global issues of today. The forum will last for two days.
