Export of Turkish agricultural products in the first quarter reached 8 billion 626 million dollars, which is a record export figure in the history of the Republic.
According to announced the data by the Exporters Union of Türkiye (TİM), Türkiye’s export in January-March increased by 2.5 percent compared to last year, to $61 billion 587 million.
At the same time, the export of agricultural products increased by 4.5 percent and reached a record $8 billion 626 million.
The share of agriculture in Türkiye’s export basket has reached 14 percent.
The main importers of Turkish agricultural products are Iraq, Russia, Spain and the Netherlands.
