Uzbekistan imports EV worth $26.8 million
Electric vehicles (EV) worth $26.8 million were imported to Uzbekistan.
In January-February 2023, Uzbekistan imported 786 electric vehicles from non-CIS countries for a total of $26.8 million. and other countries – 25 units, Turanews.kz reports citing Statistics Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Since the beginning of the year, the country has imported totally 786 EVs since the beginning of the year which is 3.5 times (562 cars in qty) more compared to the same period last year.
Most of the electric vehicles were supplied from China – 705 cars. In second place belongs to Hong Kong. In addition with 56 cars and rest of list follows as Germany – 15, United Arab Emirates – 5 and South Korea – 2 cars.
