Kyrgyzstan announces average monthly salary in 2023

In the first month of 2023, the average monthly salary in the country was 29, 912 Kyrgystani soms (342 USD), this was announced by the Kyrgyz National Statistical Committee.

The average monthly nominal salary increased by 41.4% compared to the same period of the last year and and officially employed Kyrgyzstanis received average of 21 151 soms (242 USD).

Real wages (adjusted for inflation) in January of this year increased by 22.6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to the National Statistical Committee, there is an increase in the growth rate of the average monthly accrued wages was observed at enterprises and organizations in various economic activity.

The most significant increase was noted in the field of arts, entertainment and recreation with 89%, compulsory social security with 74%.

The other professionalities with a salary increase are as follows:
– Education field with 63%,
– Administrative and support activities with 52%,
– Public health and social services with 42%,
– Information and communications technologies with 36%,
– Hotel and restaurant activities with 32%,
– Professional, scientific and technical activities with 28%,
– Transport activities and cargo storage with 23%,
– Wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair with 24%,
– and construction field with 22%.
