Azerbaijani President condemns attack on embassy in Iran

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev condemned an attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, Turanews.kz reports

President Aliyev  expressed his condolences to the relatives of the martyred security service employee.

“I strongly condemn the terrorist attack committed today against our embassy in Tehran. I express my deep condolences to the family and relatives of Senior Lieutenant Askerov Orkhan Rizvanoglu, who died while securing the safety of the embassy and its employees.

We demand the speedy investigation of this terrorist act and the speedy punishment of the terrorists. A terrorist attack on diplomatic missions is unacceptable!”
